Hypnotherapy Diploma Training Course |
Unlike other therapies, Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy (ACH), through regression and other therapeutic techniques, directs the client straight to the root of their problem or issue and helps them to understand it, rationalise it and then create a positive change in that area. Due to the nature of A.C.H, almost any issue or problem can be treated, making this form of hypnotherapy accessible to all clients. As the results achieved by A.C.H are fast and effective it is also an exceptionally popular therapy.
The course has been externally assessed and validated by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) enabling passing students to be eligible to join the General Hypnotherapy Register, the UK’s largest hypnotherapy organisation and be registered with The National Regulatory Register for Hypnotherapy, the UK’s largest hypnotherapy register.
Corinna Elsey is an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist (A.C.H), specialising in Regression techniques which are at the forefront of Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Corinna has been practising for over five years and is a fully qualified teacher and practitioner. She was trained by both Valerie Austen and Roohy Shahin and is registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register and is a member of the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners. Corinna is also a practitioner listed by The National Regulatory Register for Hypnotherapy.
The course pack material is presented in a clear and logical way, easily accessible to everyone and the classes are balanced between instruction, demonstration and practice.
Corinna understands the importance of building confidence and therefore many of the sessions will be devoted to practical work. Everyone attending the course will be given the opportunity to practice all the techniques taught on another member of the course and also to be hypnotised, regressed and experience suggestion hypnosis themselves. As numbers of students are kept to a minimum, this allows ample opportunities for everyone to join in. Many students will find that they experience lots of self-discovery within these sessions and will leave the course feeling more confident, happy and motivated than when they entered.
Students will complete the course with all the knowledge, guidance, advice and confidence they need to set up business and become a practicing hypnotherapist.
In addition to the modules below, at the end of most sessions all students will be given deep relaxation NLP to enhance their own self-hypnosis techniques by means of a trigger word, which can be used to create an immediate state of relaxation at any time.
This intensive course is set out over a period of 14 days, with a further early evening Champaign reception for the presentation of diplomas and the opportunity to ask any additional questions. Each day runs from 10am to 5pm with two short breaks for tea/coffee and 45 minutes for lunch.
A further 3 practice days will be held on a weekend day at weekly intervals after the end of the course to enable all students to develop their confidence further and ask any questions, providing a further 24 hours of teaching. In addition, on-going support also includes a practice day once every quarter where students can come and practice in front of their trainer for the day.
The course is suitable for those with no experience or prior knowledge of hypnotherapy. Equally, it is also suitable for those who have studied different forms of hypnotherapy and would now like to increase their repertoire to include regressional techniques.
All students will be sent a reading list in advance of the course, and students will be expected to read both in advance and throughout the course. Written assignments will also be set to be carried out in the evenings.

Students will also be continually assessed throughout the course on their practical work within the group sessions. Any student who does not pass the written examination will be given the opportunity to sit it again after a further home study period and also another afternoon with Corinna at no extra cost to the student.
All students who pass the course will be able to use the letters DipHyp (Diploma in Hypnotherapy) or C.H (Certified Hypnotherapist) after their name. In addition, upon acceptance by the GHR and payment of their fee, students will receive their certificate of membership and are then entitled to use the initials GHRreg after their name, and also the initials GQHP, which stands for the General Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice, which all qualifying and fee paying students will be awarded.
All students passing the course will be able to practice immediately if they wish to. All students are welcome to contact their trainer, with no additional cost, to discuss any issues, concerns, problems, questions or cases that arise. On-going support also includes a practice day once every quarter for the first year where students can come and practice in front of their trainer for the day.
Ongoing study is essential to keeping ahead and making sure that your clients are getting the best possible therapy. Further courses, training modules and reading will also be discussed within the final module to make sure that all students are aware of the opportunities surrounding further study.
“The course was put together very well, covering all aspects and angles of hypnosis. Our teacher was very clear and very encouraging. The length of the course was ideal and it was very easy to follow and it was brilliant to work in such a small group, which allowed us all to have lots of practice which heightened our confidence. I met some great people through the course, and felt very comfortable and trusting and was able to open up and clear a lot of my issues through the practical work. I am very satisfied, Corinna thank you very much for an amazing time and all your support.”

“The course has been very interesting, informative and fun. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and being a small group was very personal, allowing us to gain a very good level of trust between us, which made the practical work very interesting and we were able to have regression sessions which were very diverse. Corinna is a very thorough and has a fantastic and enthusiastic way of teaching, making you feel very relaxed and confident. She is a natural at what she does and I feel honoured to have been part of her course. She has allowed us all to become very confident and comfortable to work as hypnotherapists. It has been an absolute pleasure to be on this course and I feel it was excellent value for money. I would defiantly recommend this course to others. Thank you.”

“I have so enjoyed this course, it feels like a new door has opened and that I can really expand and develop my practice as a therapist, offering new ways to work with clients. I have never been bored. The time has just zipped by. I enjoyed all the elements of the course, there was a perfect balance of theory and practise and experiential personal development. I liked the expectation to work hard and the seriousness of the study both in class and between the course days, yet this was held within a flexible, playful frame so that the 'child within' us has room for expression too. I felt very motivated and supported by Corinna's engaging positive way of being. I felt Corinna was very respectful of where I was coming from and she helped me understand hypnotherapy within my own frame of reference. I'm never happy spending money, especially hard when it's for me! And the course is absolutely value for money. I have already recommended the course to others.”

“The course was brilliant! Corinna's an amazing teacher with an inspiring personality and is particularly easy to work with. She was very thorough and expected us to work hard, but was amazingly enthusiastic and full of praise and encouragement . I'm so happy to have been taught by one of the best. It was a thorough course with an excellent balance of theory and practical. By the end I feel confident to start working on others.”
The 14 day course costs £2,300 with a £300 non-refundable deposit being paid at registration for the course and the rest payable on the first day of the course. The payment can be made in instalments prior to the course if this is easier for the student. The end of course exam and additional practice day are included in the course fee.
In addition to the course fee, it is also suggested that students purchase recommended books from the reading list.
